Harvard Girl

Hey everyone! I am sorry that I've been MIA lately but as many of you know, I am at Boston Ballet's Summer Dance Program! After spending every weekday dancing for hours at the studio, my friends and I love to spend the weekend exploring different parts of the city. Today, we decided to venture out of Boston to visit Cambridge, where the historic Harvard University is located.

A trip to Harvard called for a classy yet trendy outfit that would keep me cool in the nearly ninety degree weather. I decided that this light, breezy romper from Brandy Melville would be the perfect piece for a day of casual strolling and sipping frozen lemonade.

I went for gold jewelry to dress up the romper and laced up my Adidas Sambas to add a sporty vibe to the look. I finished the outfit off with a slouchy leather backpack which is both fashionable and functional, essential for a Harvard girl.

Venturing to new places is the perfect opportunity to try out various street style trends as I did today and although I may not be a true Harvard girl, I can sure dress the part :) I hope that you all enjoyed this post and stay tuned for a special post coming to you next weekend!
