Back to School: Senior Edition

Yes kids, no matter how hard you try to deny it, it is once again that time of year. While it may be terribly painful to even think bout trading in your flip flops and endless days at the beach for gym sneakers and a grueling fall schedule, the promise of new fall trends and pulling out my favorite sweaters always makes going back to school a little easier.

The start of a new school year for me has always been equal measures of excitement and trepidation, but this year is different. I am finally a senior and am thoroughly excited to begin my final year of high school. Since this is my last year, I feel obligated to make every last high school outfit count. If you too feel that this extremely important fashion responsibility falls on your shoulders, you've come to the right place. Today, I am sharing ten my favorite BTS picks from all of my favorite stores. Hopefully you can pull some inspiration and get an idea of some things you may want to add to your BTS wardrobe. I added links under each item to make finding them a breeze. Happy shopping!
1. Adidas Original Superstars from Urban Outfitters

http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/

These classic Adidas sneakers are all over Pinterest, Tumblr, Instagram, you name it. Their fresh look adds a sporty-chic vibe to any outfit. These kicks are at the top of my shopping list.

2. MOTO Jamie Flare Jeans from Topshop

http://us.topshop.com/

I snagged a pair of these flare jeans while I was spring-breaking in New York City and have seen them pop up in dozens of stores. They are comfy, unique and a great introduction to the 70's trend for fall. I wear jeans almost everyday of my life and these are the perfect break from my usual skinnies.

3. Biker Jacket from H&M

Everyone needs a leather jacket in their arsenal. Great for layering and toughening up any outfit, a leather jacket is an absolute must for BTS.
4. Denae Denim Skirt from Brandy Melville
http://www.brandymelvilleusa.com/
I was not much of a skirt girl last year but this year, that is all going to change. A casual denim skirt is perfect for a tomboyish girl like me who steers clear of pencil skirts. Also, this skirt is only $30, a serious steal.
5. Little America backpack from Herschel

I have carried a Herschel backpack for the past two years now and have decided they are the most stylish backpacks/black-holes ever. Seriously, you can fit anything and everything in this bag and the selection of different designs is extensive. This black one is just one of my favorites. I encourage you to head over to the site right now and take a look. You won't be disappointed :)

6. Tourguide Sweatshirt from Madewell

Crew necks are the cleaner and more stylish cousin of the sweatshirt or hoodie with the same level of comfort. This graphic one is perfect for a lazy day outfit.

7. Magdelena Booties from Dr. Martens

MAGDALENA: MAGDALENA

Although Dr. Martens are not eveyone's style, these heeled booties are not your average Dr. Martens. Its no secret that boots like these are a huge trend for fall and this particular pair is perfect for strutting down the hallway. I think I'll have to save up to buy these for myself...

8. Wilfred Durandal Sweater from Aritzia

http://us.aritzia.com/

This sleeveless knit turtleneck is the perfect summer to fall transition piece. I picture it with a pair of distressed skinnies and some Birkenstocks for a comfy-cool vibe.

9. Drapey Chambray Romper from J.Crew
https://www.jcrew.com/

While the weather is still on the warmer side, I love incorporating summery pieces into my BTS outfits. This romper is the perfect layering and transitioning piece. I love how its shown here with the jean jacket.

10. Split-Front Long Line Tunic form Forever 21
