Hippie Love: A Coachella Inspired Lookbook

As weekend 1 of Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival draws to a close, I've decided to create 3 festival inspired looks sans the fruity flower crowns and excessive face jewelry. I mean they're cute and all but I don't think I'll be walking around town with rhinestones stuck to my face anytime soon. And as for flower crowns, I've never been a fan. These looks are a little more grungy but still perfect to rock at some outdoor concerts and events this spring and summer! Without further adieu, let's get hella Coachella! (I had to do it. I'm  so sorry.)

This look is really great because its so easy to recreate. All you need is a sheer dress, cute bikini and a cool pair of black boots. I would say that this look should be reserved for special events and not necessarily for everyday wear but hey,  you do you girl![gallery ids="1363,1362" type="rectangular"]Dress: Belt: Lucky Brand Jeans Boots: Deena and Ozzy from UO  Bikini: Lucky Brand Jeans Hat: Forever 21 Sunglasses: Banana Republic

[gallery ids="1366,1367" type="rectangular"][gallery ids="1378,1377" type="rectangular"]I was thinking about giving this skirt away until I realized what a versatile piece it was. It has great shape and flow and is (naturally) from Modern Nostalgia. This outfit is easy and breezy; it embodies the essence of a modern day hippie queen.Skirt: Bordeaux  Belt: Lucky Brand Jeans Crop-Top: Kimchi Blue Sunglasses: Vintage Dior

Look 3: The Festival Shorts

The only denim shorts I wear are from Bullhead Denim Co. at PacSun. I have 5 pairs on constant rotation throughout the summer. They're comfortable, not too short and high-waisted enough for those of us with long torsos. This outfit is seriously cool and is sure to make you feel like a certified #baddie.Shorts: Bullhead Denim Co. Boots: Luchiny Shirt: Forever 21 Hat: Vintage Sunglasses: Steve MaddenHere are the necklaces that I wore in all the looks:I hope you guys liked this post! If you're wishing that you were at Coachella like I am right now, head over to YouTube to see live streaming coverage of the festivities! Keep reading and checking back. Much Love <3 PS&P
