Wild Thang
Spring has sprung ya'll! The weather in NYC is (finally) warming up and I am beyond ready to trade in my winter coats for some warm-weather pieces. Lately, I've been incorporating my summer dresses into my transitional outfits by layering them with jackets and sweaters.
I purchased this snakeskin print, midi dress 2 weeks ago at Reformation while on a weekend shopping trip with my Mama. Ref is quickly becoming my favorite specialty shop for dresses. The easy silhouettes, fun patterns and comfortable fabrics have me absolutely hooked.
I wanted to keep this look simple and streamlined so I kept the color palette simple. I layered my go-to leather jacket over the dress and added my chain detail fanny-pack to incorporate some silver hardware.
I always tend to pair clothing items that have a feminine silhouette with either a sneaker or chunky boot. This provides the outfit with an element of androgyny; something that I always gravitate towards.
