Yes, my friends, it is that time of year once again. While we all love to pretend that we aren't the pumpkin spice everything, cuffing season crazed, sweater-weather loving basics that we are, it's time to just embrace it. It's fall y’all. Just let it happen. Although the East Coast decided to skip that delicious transition from summer to fall, you won't be hearing any complaints from me. Many crop-tops, denim shorts, and summer dresses went unworn, but there's always next year. I am 100% here for fall. Two weeks ago, I headed down to Jersey with friends for a fun afternoon of fall festivities. It quickly turned into a photoshoot (as most things do with us). Luckily, I came prepared with the perfect fall look for the occasion.

For this outfit, I wanted to create something comfy, cozy and unmistakably autumnal. My mustard yellow sweater is a thrift store find the Mission District in from San Francisco. It's the perfect cold-weather piece: knitted and oversized. Also, the color is very on trend. Can we just make mustard a thing forever? Please and thank you.

To offset the vibrant hue of the sweater, I stuck to darker and more muted tones for the rest of the outfit. To give it a little something extra, I threw on a hat to give the look a witchy vibe. This is probably the closest I'll get to wearing a Halloween costume this year. Sorry, not sorry.

I hope you enjoyed this post! Stayed tuned for more fall looks coming soon.
